Maria Moreno Lopez

Hi! I’m so excited to be joining Sánchez Elementary this school year!

I’m originally from a small town in Granada, Spain. This will be my forth year teaching as a bilingual teacher in the United States, and I’m so excited to continue this adventure at Sánchez!

I love seeing students become more curious and confident every day, and I hope our classroom is a place where everyone feels welcome, supported, and excited to learn. I can’t wait to meet my students and their families and have a fantastic year together!

I am so excited to start my 2nd full year as a 5th grade teacher! I graduated from Texas State University in December of 2024, and started teaching at Becker the following March. I love all things STEM, especially math!
