Welcome to George I. Sánchez Elementary

A Message from the Principal

Hello Sánchez Elementary Families,

I am Travis Barrett, and I am incredibly optimistic and proud to be joining you as your new Principal for the 2026–27 school year. It has been a pleasure to begin meeting and connecting with many of our Sánchez families.

I am already so impressed by our truly talented and dedicated staff, who are committed to making this year exceptional for every student.

We are fortunate to learn and grow together at George I. Sánchez Elementary, a beautiful, newly modernized campus designed to inspire learning and growth. With two vibrant playgrounds and classrooms filled with natural light from large windows, our school provides an inviting and engaging environment for students.

Offering both Dual Language and ESL programs, we proudly support diverse learners and foster strong communication skills. At its core, Sánchez Elementary encourages every student to thrive academically while growing into thoughtful, positive members of our community.
